Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Andrews Innovation platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

The Platform is intended for students, faculty, mentors, and community members affiliated with Andrews University and its innovation programs. By using the Platform, you represent that you are authorized to do so.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Post false, misleading, or harmful content
• Harass, intimidate, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform
• Use the Platform to solicit others for commercial purposes unrelated to the innovation programs

5. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Platform (such as startup ideas, pitch decks, and business plans). By submitting content, you grant Andrews Innovation a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and share that content solely for the purposes of operating and promoting the program.

All Platform software, design, and branding are the property of Andrews Innovation and may not be reproduced without written permission.

6. Program Participation

Participation in the Incubator, Accelerator, or other programs is subject to additional program-specific terms communicated by coordinators. Andrews Innovation reserves the right to accept, reject, or remove participants at its discretion.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information provided will be accurate or complete.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Andrews Innovation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
